Hello! Welcome, I don't really know what I am doing, but I am sure I will figure it out. This blog or whatever, is dedicated to mastering the electric guitar. I will be sharing ideas that I have found useful, snippets of recorded music, pictures anecdotes, quotes, anything - related to mastering the gutiar, and sometimes not related.
I have about 20 years of guitar playing experience, but not all of it has been spent productively, so maybe I have 5 years of quality learning time under my belt, so we will be starting at the intermediate level, I guess. I know my scales and modes, some of the important chords, and want to take that knowledge to the next level. Style is of no importance; the instrument itself is the style, let's not limit ourselves in any way. Satriani, McLaughlin, Howe, Harrison, Page, Martino, Montgomery, Di Meola, Malmsteen, Gilbert, Santana, Fripp, Hackett and Hendrix are all guitar heroes and role models for the true seeker of guitar mastery.
I have this dream of becoming a Guitar Wizard, and if you share the same dream, you are welcome to share this mystical journey. Remember - the journey is the destination, no mastery if final and complete. Wizards always have something to learn. Dreams can sometimes become nightmares, so as Alice Cooper had once said, Welcome To My Nightmare, and I hope you'll like it.
